Mid 90s to 2004 because after that you got the hand check rule which basically made any slowing a player down going to the basket a foul and the league got softer

it's make sense that the game will be a little softer then the previous ... but today it becoming a joke ! Tech for clapping (Tatom) , shouting on your own teammates (Green), taunting and crap like that ... and i will take 90s-2010s basketball over today ...purly over the fact the rules actually meant something ... no way ref can miss 4-10 steps .... no way refs miss double dribble.... and the refs shouldn't whistle because the player made noise (specially if that players known as flopper (LJ)) if you didn't saw it and no one got injured it didn't happen!! if someone got hurt ....review and punish the player if its flop!!! cheating that's the definition of "unsportsmanlike conduct" !! it got so bad that you see players highlights with travels and crap.... refs should keep the game in order and protect the players ... no decide the outcome of the game by BS calls or ignoring blunt calls!!!

For real, I fully understand what he's talking about. I literally couldn't walk for 10 months from a shattered leg. Multiple surgeries. I was never the same after that. Been almost 10 years and I still lost it. I still can't figure out what I lost, but I lost it. Injuries aren't just physical. They play a huge role emotionally and psychologically.

Robert Parish played from 1976 through the 96-97 season. He played during 3 different decades and straight up says that mid 80's was the most physical era in basketball. But I do agree that it all depends on which era made you fall in love with the game. In the 80's there were only a handful of teams I cared to watch when they played against each other. Celtics vs pistons was like watching a different sport, at times, that combined basketball with professional wrestling. The Lakers vs Celtics was basically what made the nba blow up nation wide. but I really became a fan in the 90's.

I love how they won’t put Tim in the center role and call him a power forward yet try to compare Lebron to Jordan when Lebron is a forward he wasn’t a guard like Jordan or Kobe.. they played different positions so Tim would be in the center role!!
